We utilize mechanical and electrical interlocks to physically prevent the mains and generator supplies from connecting simultaneously, eliminating the risk of short circuits.
To prevent unnecessary switching during minor fluctuations, our ATS units monitor voltage stability, ensuring a transfer only occurs during a genuine outage or brownout.
The system continuously monitors the mains supply. Upon detecting a failure, it initiates the generator start signal within seconds to restore power rapidly.
Every unit is equipped with a manual operation handle, allowing maintenance personnel to operate the switch safely during servicing or system testing.
The controller senses a loss of phase or voltage drop in the utility grid and waits a preset time to confirm it is not a momentary spike.
Once the generator reaches the correct frequency, the switch isolates the mains and engages the generator supply to power the load.
When utility power returns, the system verifies its stability before transferring the load back and shutting down the generator.
